  1. Greetings!

I made a list a few weeks ago though it’s in Word not in Excel comparing the length of cardinals created at 80 years old and above. But it was only from 1983 since that was the first instance that a pope created a non-elector cardinal. Before and even in the first half of Pope Paul VI pontificate cardinals over the age of 80 years old can still vote. In fact the oldest cardinal to have ever votes is I think at age 95 or so during the 1400s. Back to my list I discovered that among all the created non-elector cardinals the longest cardinlates is that of Ersilio Tonini and Kasimierz Swiatek both of whom have been cardinals for almost 16 years already. That is for non-elector cardinals. I have not included the new batch of cardinals though. So for now its a tie depending on who will live longer.

    Here is my amateur list:

  2. Thank YOU. Very kind.
I have been, off and on, working for the last day and half updating my 6-page College stats table to reflect the new cardinals.
Once that is done I will again visit your list and publish it. Maybe this Sunday. OK?
Did you see the two new charts I published today.
    All the best. Thanks, again.
    Cheers,
    Anura
