>> New Opus Dei ‘Senior Communications Adviser’ To Holy See Insists On New Keyboards For The Press Office — June 24, 2012.
The pope, Benedict XVI (#266), just last week, inexplicably used the code word ‘mystery’ when trying to justify clerical sex abuse to the Irish.
Then, two days later, papabile #1, Lord Bertone, Secretary of State and Camerlengo, used the code word ‘devil‘ to explain Vatileaks and maybe even tried to give us a ‘heads up‘ about the appointment of Greg Burke to make sure that ‘out of control‘ Lombardi doesn’t go off the rails all together.
Maybe now that we have the very slick, debonair, very American Gregory Burke the Vatican might have to stop making jokes like the ‘an insert for women‘ that they, quite hilariously, sprung on us last week.
I am still not sure what the Europeans think of Gregory Burke’s appointment. The Vatican is confirming, something that we in the U.S. has always known (and I being part of the fraternity), that when it comes to spin doctoring we are the best!
All the said, again given my familiarity with spin, doosra, the Chinaman etc., I want to make sure that you all understand how to read Gregory Burke.
Gregory Burke, being Opus Dei, is very unlikely to say: ‘mystery to me‘, ‘I have no clue‘, ‘it must be the devil’s work‘ etc.
He is always likely to say: ‘Beats ME‘, ‘I too am feeling the PINCH‘ and ‘I feel your PAIN’.
Just remember he is Opus Dei.
Hope this helps. Last phrase submitted by Dr. David T. who is enjoying this as much as I.
