How Papal Conclaves Came To Be – A Presentation

I WAS going to do a small presentation for the New England Historical Association. As with Facebook, my wife’s idea. But, I will not be presenting.

As is my wont, and with 30 years of practice of putting together presentations, I did a quick and dirty PowerPoint. Nothing too profound. All this information has been covered in considerably more detail in my ‘The Next Pope’ book.

I do not do presentation notes for myself! My father, a gifted public speaker, taught me at a very young age, never use notes when you speak. Consequently, though I have done 5 day stand-up seminars, I have never used notes. Always remembered all of what I wanted to say. So … these slides are half-baked … in that they don’t have the words that will embellish them. SORRY.
