Ryan Hall was on CNN a few minutes ago extolling the virtues of his coach. It was enlightening.

This, indubitably, could be the long awaited ‘Dan Brown‘ moment for the beleaguered, marginalized old pope. Ryan Hall wins the marathon, out running all of the long legged Africans, and the Pope, God and the Church triumphs. So, I am anxious to make sure that this new Fox News guy at the Vatican has made sure that the pope has made all the necessary arrangements with the coach. This could be THE biggest story out of the 2012 Olympics. This guy, Ryan Hall, definitely is a gem. He told CNN that: ‘yes, he has blamed God when he had lost races’! My kind of guy. To me it always has to cut both ways. So, I am hoping that the pope takes some time out of dictating his next book on prayer and makes sure Ryan gets Gold.

A ‘The New York Times’ story. Can’t find the CNN clip as yet. It was July 18 around 11 am Eastern on CNN (USA).
