This morning I had this e-mail from my friend, Robert, who lives in the shadows of the Vatican wall and was the founder of the amazing Il Sismografo (The Seismograph), Catholic news in 5 languages Web site that has covered my work quite a bit:

This, I will confess, is gratifying. I am happy. The kids love it. Thank you to all for your continued help and support. Anura

  1. I think it is Pope Pius IX not Pope Pius XI who lived longer than Pope Benedict XVI. Pius XI died at age 81 years in 1939 while Pius IX was almost 86 when he died in 1878. The article and the video said Pius XI.

  2. My last sentece should be Pius XI. sorry for the mistake.

  3. I fixed it. So this comment is going to look ‘odd’. But, just to let you know, I fixed it, so YOU look good. Thanks.

  4. Yes, OF COURSE, you are right. Here was my last post: http://popes-and-papacy.com/wordpress/?p=5480. Thanks. Hope you are doing good. Thanks.

  5. Thanks to a contact at the Vatican I managed to get, last night, the ‘good’ e-mail address for the Director of Rome Reports.
I sent him an e-mail about the typo and got this back a few minutes ago:
    “Dear Mr. Guruge,
    thanks for your kind message!
We’ve just change the “typo”. Thanks for telling us! And congratulations for your website! It has lot of interesting data.
We’re in contact. Best from Rome,

    Javier M-Brocal
    Javier Martínez-Brocal
    Director
    ROME REPORTS TV News Agency”
